The Downey SST (Slant Side Tonneau)

The Downey SST is available with applications for foreign and domestic trucks as well as many older makes and models. SST's are clamp mounted and come complete with attached gaskets to seal between the frame and truck. The SST is also available in special order lengths for trucks equipped with tool boxes. Downey has utilized the latest in computer design and composite technology in its inverted snap and channel system. This system allows the cover to be snapped anywhere on the frame without having to line up snaps and provides easy cargo access at any point, including behind the cab.

High Quality Aluminum Frame

The satin black aircraft quality anodized aluminum frame blends in so it looks good even with the cover off. The Downey SST frame looks better and more professional than bright aluminum, especially on darker colors.

Easy Snap Channel Means Quick Cover Removal

The easy snap channel allows for quick and complete cover removal with no frame disassembly. The SST tonneau opens anywhere, including the front of the bed which allows for convenient access not possible with roll-up or folding style covers. The Downey SST tonneau also helps improve fuel mileage.
